The Reden & Anders Physician Charge Forecaster is a display of the following:
• Mean charges for a set period of years
• Annual historical charge trends
• Calculated annualized trend rates over four-year and recent two-year periods
• Forecasted charge per procedure under the average four and two-year trend averages.
The information highlighted above is provided for the top 35 dollar-weighted volume CPTs specific to each specialty.
Standardized reports
Reden & Anders has developed standardized reports containing the information described above by state, segmented further into urban and non-urban reports.
Customized reports
Reden & Anders can accommodate customized requests for further segmentation of the specialty-specific charge reports. Examples of further breakdowns include reports at the MSA level or groupings of counties, or an individual county. However, it should be noted that there are CMS-required minimums as to the data cell volume, which may preclude us from releasing all data elements in the report for customized requests. Also, note that as the size of the defined area requested decreases, so does the credibility of the information provided.
