Market-leading PowerTrak® System Offers Integrated State EDI Medical Bill Reporting

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., September 19, 2006—Ingenix, a leading provider of medical bill adjudication software (PowerTrak) in the workers' compensation arena, has contracted with Red Oak E-Commerce Solutions (ROES) to provide a seamless bill editing, adjudication and reporting process for the workers' compensation market.

With mandatory state medical reporting taking effect September 22 in California, Ingenix stands ready to immediately offer electronic data interchange (EDI) reporting solutions for our customers doing business in all states with medical or FROI / SROI (First or Subsequent Report of Injury) reporting in an EDI environment.

State reporting services can be offered to existing and new customers as a seamless integrated function with the PowerTrak bill adjudication software. The integrated offering is immediately available to payers doing business in all three mandatory medical EDI states (CA, FL and TX).

The alliance with ROES also allows Ingenix to provide ROES medical and FROI / SROI reporting utility in all mandatory and voluntary states to customers who do not currently use PowerTrak.

Ingenix and ROES are both recognized leaders in the workers' compensation data market. Both Ingenix and ROES offer outstanding dedicated state reporting and rules staff who monitor the latest state mandates and requirements to maintain product compliance.

The alliance with ROES allows Ingenix to offer a more complete bill review and reporting process for customers at an attractive rate compared to other solutions. The relationship will allow Ingenix to be able to design and implement direct medical bill information for other states as they adopt International Association of Industrial Accident Boards & Commissions (IAIABC) standards of reports. Additional state reporting development is automatically included as PowerTrak provides automated state updates.
