In January 2008 Ingenix will offer medical providers and gateway partners the ability to electronically submit their Workers' Compensation medical bill data and documentation to Texas Insurance Carriers, Third Party Administrators, Managed Care Organizations and other entities connected to the Ingenix Workers' Compensation Clearinghouse (IWCC).
The IWCC is being developed in accordance with the Texas Department of Insurance's initiative for electronic medical billing. Go to http://www.tdi.state.tx.us/wc/ebill/index.html for more information.
Providers and Gateway Partners who currently submit their medical claims to the Ingenix Clearinghouse, will soon have the ability to submit their Workers' Compensation bills using this same channel.
